Israel Update December 2024
These past few weeks have been tumultuous regarding the news in the Middle East. Israel signed a ceasefire with Hezbollah which will stop rockets and other attacks from the North for some time. We hope this is a sign of future peace in the region. Another recent event is that Israel defended itself against Iran after rocket attacks. Perhaps one of the most notable events in the past few weeks is the fall of Assad's dictatorship in Syria (Israel's neighbor). This will provide more border security for Israel in the future and might spell the end of enmity between the two.
